The scientific activity of the University is aligned with the implementation of several key policy documents and strategies in Kazakhstan, including: Addresses of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan, The "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy, The State Program of Education and Science Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025, The State Program of Development of Regions for 2020-2025., The Program of Development of Territories of Akmola region., The Development Program of Ualikhanov University in the direction of "Scientific work and interaction with the region" for 2021-2023. These strategic and program documents guide and shape the scientific activities and priorities of the University in its pursuit of research, education, and development, particularly focusing on their interaction with the region.
"Scientific and research work is conducted in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Science" dated February 18, 2011, the Regulations on National Scientific Councils, approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 16, 2011, No. 519, the Rules of basic, grant, program-targeted financing of scientific and (or) scientific-technical activities, approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 25, 2011, No. 575, and the Rules of state scientific-technical expertise, approved by the Order of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 25, 2011, №381-V.
