On August 22, Aigul Kurmanbayeva, Vice-Rector of Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, took part in the Huawei Instructor Summit, which brought together representatives from 48 ICT academies of universities across the country.
The summit focused on key areas such as:
- enhancing educational methodology and developing talent in the field of ICT;
- adapting academic programs to meet industry demands;
- preparing students for the international Huawei ICT Competition.
Keynote speakers included:
- Arman Ashkin, Chairman of the Science Fund under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan (national AI-Sana program);
- Ekaterina Pushkareva, Specialist of the UNESCO IITE Program;
- Tamara Tavsultanova, Executive Manager of Huawei’s ICT Talent Development Partnership Department;
- Zhazira Kamashbek, Huawei Talent Ecosystem Development Manager;
- Adilet Mukhambetaliyev, Huawei Solutions Manager.
The summit also showcased success stories from universities and students who were winners of various competitions.
Huawei Instructor Summit 2025 became a significant event aimed at fostering digital talent and strengthening educational initiatives in the ICT sector in Kazakhstan.
