In October, open lessons using innovative technologies were conducted by the following faculty members of the departments:
- Department of Kazakh Language and Literature – PhD in Philology, Assistant Professor Ayan Tolegenuly Kazhybay on the topic: “Socio-political and social conditions on the eve of the formation of the Kazakh Khanate. Directions of development and artistic-ideological features of the literature of the Khanate period. Historical roots of zhyrau poetry. Kazakh literature of the 15th–16th centuries. The legacy of Kaztugan Suinishuly.”
- Department of Engineering Technologies and Transport – PhD Arman Kabdrakhmanuly Kalin on the topic: “Chain Drives.”
- Department of Mining, Construction and Ecology – Senior Lecturer Askar Zhambylovich Nurmaganbetov on the topic: “Technology of Excavation of Building Stone Deposits.”
- Department of Mining, Construction and Ecology – Senior Lecturer Didar Berikovich Zhanyenov on the topic: “Sources of Atmospheric Air Pollution and Ways to Combat Them.”
- Department of Information Technologies – Master of Technical Sciences, Assistant Lecturer Aizada Tolepbergenkyzy Kudaibergen on the topic: “Machine Learning Algorithms.”
During the lessons teachers presented various forms of work, including practical classes, interactive games, as well as group and individual activities.
Special attention was paid to creating a favorable atmosphere of cooperation between teachers and students, and to developing communication and independence skills.
Faculty members who attended the lessons noted the high level of preparation, the engaging and accessible content, and the students’ activity and interest. Following the events, the results were discussed, and recommendations were made for further improvement of teaching methods and for sharing pedagogical experience.
The open lessons contributed to strengthening collaboration among teachers and enhancing the professional skills of the teaching staff.
