From October 31 to November 3, 2025, the team of Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University took part in the International Olympiad “Medicine of the Future 2025,” organized by Central Asian University in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by five universities:
– Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University,
– Astana Medical University,
– Karaganda Medical University,
– South Kazakhstan Medical Academy,
– S. D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University.
According to the results, two Kazakhstani universities — Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University and Karaganda Medical University — entered the top 10 best teams, proudly representing the country on the international stage.
Our students from the Higher School of Medicine — Abutalipova Aibota, Baikhanova Zhannet, Tlekbai Sabina, Beisembai Zhaksybek, and Seifolla Madina — represented the university with dignity, achieving:
– 28th place in the overall ranking,
– 10th place in clinical cases among 46 universities from 12 countries worldwide.
Team leader — Asel Askarovna Shaizadaeva, Head of the Simulation Center of the Higher School of Medicine.
The high results of our students became possible thanks to strong theoretical preparation, solid clinical bases, and the active integration of modern simulation training technologies, including:
– the virtual 3D patient Academix3D;
– the VR hardware and software complex AcademiX;
– multifunctional computerized robotic simulators.
Thanks to modern simulation-based education, students of Kokshetau University confidently develop clinical thinking and practical skills in accordance with international standards of medical education.
A letter of appreciation was sent to the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, Marat Kadyrovich Syrlybaev, for supporting students and contributing to the development of medical education.All participants of the Olympiad were awarded certificates.
