In the framework of implementing the principle of “Law and Order” the Higher School of Business and Law in collaboration with the Akmola Region Prosecutor’s Office, authorized state bodies, the Notary Chamber, the Bar Association and the Chamber of Private Bailiffs organized an educational legal event for international students at Ualikhanov University.
The primary objective of the initiative was to enhance the legal literacy of international students, provide clarification of applicable legislation, and offer practical guidance in addressing legal matters. Over 200 international students from the Higher School of Medicine participated and received complimentary legal consultations on issues pertaining to social protection, visa regulations, education, housing, as well as criminal and administrative law.
Additionally, law enforcement representatives conducted a session on fraud prevention, outlining common fraudulent schemes and unlawful practices, and advising students on strategies for mitigating exposure to such risks.Participants responded positively, emphasizing the practical relevance and accessibility of the initiative. Events of this nature contribute to the development of a culture of legal awareness, foster trust, and support the creation of a secure and well-regulated educational environment.
