On September 11, 2025, within the framework of the decade dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, organized by the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature of the Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, a meeting was held with representatives of the republican scientific and educational expedition "National Value. Kazakh Ethnography and the Writer, Ethnographer Zeinolla Sanik - 90 Years".
The purpose of the event was to promote national spiritual and cultural heritage, honor the scientific and creative legacy of the prominent Kazakh ethnographer and writer Zeinolla Sanik, and deepen students' understanding of ethnography and literature.
The meeting was attended by prominent cultural figures, writers, ethnographers, and media representatives, including Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, poet Kasymkhan Begmanov; Alash scholar, ethnographer and writer Eldos Toktarbay; ethnographer Uzben Kurmanbay; and representative of the Zeinolla Sanik Cultural Foundation in Astana, Miras Mukash. The event was also attended by Deputy Akim of Akmola Region, Dosulan Erlanuly Aitbayev, who emphasized the importance of the expedition’s work.
The meeting was chaired by Candidate of Historical Sciences and Advisor to the Rector of Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, Amanbay Asylbaevich Seitkasymov, and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Erbolat Bayat.
During the event, second- and third-year students recited poems by expedition participant and poet Kasymkhan Begmanov, and young writers had the opportunity to present their own works. The meeting served as an important platform for fostering the spiritual and creative potential of students.
