The service sector is one of the major structural units of the library of KU named after Sh. Ualikhanov. The staff of the department provides librarian and informational support of the educational and methodological process, scientific and pedagogical and research activities of the university.
The main objectives of the department:
- Complete and prompt library and bibliographic service to readers with literature in accordance with their information requests;
- Formation of the department fund in accordance with curricula and educational programs of schools;
- Provision of safety of library book fund;
- Fostering informational culture.
