Delegation of O.P. Jindal Global University (Republic of India) Visits Ualikhanov University
Ualikhanov University hosted a meeting with representatives of one of India’s leading universities - O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU).
Professor (Dr.) Rahul Bhandari, Associate Dean and Director of the Office of Institutional Development and Strategic Global Engagement, along with Naman Jain, Executive Assistant to the Director of IASGE, held talks with the university leadership.
O.P. Jindal Global University is one of India’s leading universities actively advancing international academic cooperation. Today, the university educates more than 16,000 students from over 160 countries, while JGU’s global partnership network includes more than 600 universities worldwide.
The university brings together 12 schools and 6 research institutes, offering strong academic programs in law, business, international relations, humanities, and social sciences. JGU is also widely recognized for its high-quality research, international academic initiatives, and global education programs.
Particular attention is given to the development of artificial intelligence, STEM disciplines, academic mobility, and interdisciplinary research.
During the meeting, the parties discussed further development of cooperation, prospects for academic mobility, implementation of joint educational and research projects, as well as the expansion of international partnerships.
The parties expressed their intention to systematically develop student and faculty exchange programs, strengthen international academic collaboration, and implement joint initiatives in science and education.
Such meetings create new opportunities for students and faculty members, strengthen the international ties of Ualikhanov University, and lay the foundation for future joint projects.
