Ualikhanov University at HackAlem AI

On September 23, HackAlem AI, a large-scale technology hackathon, took place in Astana, bringing together students, developers, young professionals, and AI enthusiasts from across Kazakhstan.

Ualikhanov University was represented by 26 students and staff members from the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, and the Digital Transformation Department.

HackAlem AI provided a dynamic environment for hands-on work with emerging technologies, collaboration, and knowledge exchange within Kazakhstan’s tech community. Working under tight time constraints, participants were challenged to develop software products, prototypes, applications, and other technology-driven solutions using modern development tools and artificial intelligence.

For Ualikhanov University, participating in initiatives like HackAlem AI is an important part of strengthening practical expertise in AI and digital technologies. It gives our students and staff the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges, apply their knowledge in an intensive team environment, develop their own solutions, and connect with members of the wider technology community.
