Ualikhanov University Welcomes Students of Kazakh Heritage from Abroad to Its Preparatory Programme

The new academic year began on October 1, 2026, at the Preparatory Department of Ualikhanov University's Institute of Continuing Education.

This year, 40 students have enrolled in the department under the state-funded education programme. Among them are 30 students of Kazakh heritage from China and Mongolia, while the remaining 10 are citizens of Kazakhstan enrolled in a language preparation programme.

The preparatory programme aims to help students of Kazakh heritage living abroad gain the academic knowledge and language skills needed to pursue higher education in Kazakhstan. Throughout the academic year, students will strengthen their knowledge, develop their language proficiency, and become familiar with Kazakhstan's higher education system.

Ualikhanov University remains committed to expanding educational opportunities for members of the Kazakh diaspora, supporting their academic preparation and helping them take the next step towards higher education in their ancestral homeland.
