Ualikhanov University welcomed Brendan Duprey, PhD, Associate Professor and Director of the Institute for Sustainability and Development at Narxoz University
From April 16 to 30, 2026, he is delivering a lecture course titled “Sustainable Development and Climate Change” for students majoring in Mining Engineering and Ecology at the Department of Mining, Construction and Ecology.
As part of the visit, Brendan Duprey also held meetings with doctoral students and faculty members of the department, where he shared his practical experience working at gold mining enterprises in the Akmola region. A meeting with the Rector of the University, M.K. Syrybayev, was also held to discuss issues of academic cooperation.
Such meetings contribute to the exchange of international experience, improvement of specialist training quality, and the development of scientific cooperation in the field of sustainable development and ecology.
