Learning outcomes and competencies

  • to demonstrate developmental knowledge and understanding gained at the level of higher professional education, which are the basis or opportunity for the original development or application of ideas, often in the context of scientific research.
  • to apply knowledge, understanding and the ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar situations in contexts and within broader (or interdisciplinary) fields related to the study of disciplines in higher education.
  • to know the theoretical and methodological principles, metalanguage and metadictionary of modern Russian philology in the system; traditional, new, dominant philological trends, concepts, scientific schools of philology.
  • to know the main achievements, controversial issues of modern Kazakh, Russian, world philological research; scientific dominants of Russian philology of the second half of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century.
  • to be able to analyze the state and directions of development of philological science in Kazakhstan, in Russia, in the world; analyze scientific ideas, concepts in philology with critical mind, synthesize new ideas; use and disseminate new knowledge actively, productively.
