The aim of the educational program is to train teachers of two foreign languages and literature for all types of regional schools. Graduates will be proficient in the methodology of teaching both the first and second foreign languages, as well as in organizing the learning process using modern foreign language teaching technologies, including STEM, CLIL, project-based communicative approach, and critical thinking development techniques.
The Foreign Languages educational program is a national teacher training program developed in collaboration with various Kazakhstani universities and international consultants. A distinctive feature of this program is its communicative-contrastive (comparative) approach, which builds the learning process on the basis of students’ communicative skills in their native and first foreign languages, as well as their ability to operate at an interlingual level. The program aims to preserve linguistic and cultural pluralism, foster multilingual individuals, and promote multilingualism in Kazakhstan. It provides linguistic resources for professional growth and opportunities for graduates to integrate into the global community.
